Letter from the Founder

Hello there!

Welcome to OViT, and thank you for being here- every brand has a beginning, I'd like to share a little of mine.

In 2025, life unexpectedly gave me the opportunity to pause. I left my corporate job after many years developing products for global brands, almost immediately flying back to Korea, my birthplace, to help care for my sister following an accident. For the first time in decades, I wasn't thinking about production schedules, supplier meetings, or the next collection, finally giving myself the time to slow down and think a bit.

One question quietly stayed with me:

If I could create products that truly reflected my own values, what would they become?

My initial idea was to create something that could truly last the test of time in some way. I wanted it to be timeless and high-quality, per my values. Then, I thought about sustainability and minimalism, two things that have been important to me for a long time. After all, living simply is living intentionally.

From there I came up with the brand name.. OViT. One Vision in Time. A testament to the intentional living I try my best to embody the moment I wake up every day.

The OViT Max Collection is the first expression of that vision, but it is only the beginning. As OViT grows, I look forward to exploring new ideas, new materials, and meaningful collaborations while staying true to the values that inspired the brand from the very beginning.

As I continue this journey, I hope you'll find something in OViT that speaks to you- whether it's a product that becomes part of your everyday life, an appreciation for thoughtful design, or simply the belief that thoughtful choices can make a meaningful difference.
